National Poetry Month was established by the Academy of American Poets as a month-long, national celebration of poetry. To learn more about it, visit the website of the Academy of American Poets, where you can sign up to receive a poem a day during the month of April. Visit the Teen Zone at Main Library for a display about poetry.
